These are my new friends, Richard and Louise. Why? Because that's the way God wants it. He is in the business of restoring relationships. That's what righ teousness is all about. The definition of righteousness is "right standing", right standing before God and man. Most often when we hear about righ teousness, we hear about right standing with God. That's only half of its intended definition. It's right standing with God and man. Now, it is true that we are the light of the world. Salt and Light (Matthew 5) 13You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. 14You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a lampstand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.… And light shines bright in the darkness....
